Prism Water Pipes – Brand Feature
Continuing our cascade of brand features on our blog, we’ve now reached Prism Water Pipes. An incredibly exciting brand that is bringing something totally different to the bong and water pipe market. Their bongs are unique, and we can quite honestly say that we haven’t seen anything like this yet.
Prism Water Pipes was created to accomplish a few simple, but important goals. To modify the water pipe by design to not only change up the game, but to eliminate issues based around cleanliness, glass replacement, and to open up a whole world of opportunities around modifications, modularity, and customization. In this ever-changing world, nobody wants to be stuck with one option. Convenience is key, and your water pipe should be as unique as you are.
When Prism talks about modularity and changing the game, they really did that. Prism’s bongs feature their one-of-a-kind connectors that allow you to change a 2-piece beaker bong to a 3 or even 4-piece percolated monster of a bong. Currently they offer the Halo connector, or their classic option. The Halo connector is a screw on option that is water-tight and comes in many different finishes and colours. The classic connector is a clamp option that is also water-tight and comes in many of the same finishes and colours as the Halo connector. Both of these options are genius.

Pretty Done Big Honeycomb Single Stack – Prism – 18”
The Pretty Done Big Honeycomb Single Stack is Prism’s premier setup for function and size within the custom bong family. This piece is beefy, but makes the hit milky smooth. The function is perfect due to two honeycomb percolators and a straight percolator fixed downstem below the honeycomb. This setup evenly distributes the smoke throughout all of the percolators. The Pretty Done Big Honeycomb Single Stack set up comes with a clear Pretty Done Big Honeycomb Straight Base, Black Halo Connector, Mint Tall Mouthpiece, and Green 14mm Dry-Herb bowl.
Prism’s story is something we love. It has a lot of elements to relate to and offers a good laugh or two as well. One day many moons ago, Shane, the founder of Prism, lived with a bunch of guys in a college house and OF COURSE they had a house bong. As faithful and as useful as the bong may have been, Shane noticed a few things:
- Cleaning it was near impossible and thus rarely done. (6 guys, one bong…you do the math)
- When cleaning actually DID happen, you needed makeshift tools like a toothbrush fastened to a wooden rod or whatever else you could find and then risked cracking the glass getting to the hard-to-reach places.
- When a clumsy roommate drops the bong, it’s gone forever.
Fast forward 8 years to 2019, with an engineering degree and a ton of research about modular bongs, Shane knew he could make a modular bong that could change the way you smoke forever. He brought on Sara and together they brought the vision into reality; a modern modular bong that is easy to clean, easy to replace, and extraordinarily customizable.
Spaced Out Beaker Single Stack – Prism – 18”
The Spaced Out Beaker Single Stack by Prism. This is the perfect starter piece for your custom bong collection. With Prism’s custom bong system, it’s easy to break it down for ease of cleaning, part replacement, switching it up, and throwing in a backpack for an adventure. The Spaced Out Beaker Single Stack comes fully equipped with a Spaced Out White Tall Mouthpiece, Bronze Halo Connector, Spaced Out Clear Beaker Base, White Downstem, and Clear 14mm Dry-Herb Bowl.
Fast forward 1 ½ years and in comes Covid. Shane and Sara were kicked out of their little rented shop in Delaware in the height of the 420 season, left not knowing what to do with a ton of open orders and this vision they were building. However, little did they know it was a blessing in disguise because they hopped in their car and drove across the country to buy Prism’s first glass blowing lathe. 5,400 miles later, they were back setting up their own shop in North Philadelphia where they reside today. Along with this big change for Prism, they also brought on two new partners, Eliot and yes, another Shane. With the addition of two more sets of hands running the show, Prism has been able to grow as creative as ever.
Tie Dye Beaker Double Stack – Prism – 19”
The Tie Dye Beaker Double Stack is Prism’s version of the classic beaker single percolator bong, and let’s face it, it’s beautiful. With their custom bong system, it’s obviously easy to break it down, clean it, and customize it even further. This offering from Prism comes in a little taller than their other options due to the double Halo connector setup. You can really make this piece your own depending on which connectors, percolators, mouthpieces, and base you choose. The Tie Dye Double Stack Beaker comes with a Clear Beaker Base, 2 Tie Dye Halo Connectors, Clear Percolator, Clear Standard Mouthpiece, and a Clear Downstem. A very clear and clean setup.
Prism has also paired up with some very talented graphic artists to bring you some EPIC decal designs. Some of them are Pretty Done, Enzy, and Prism’s very own shop manager. By collaborating with artists, Prism has been able to take the modular bong world to the next level allowing an unimaginable amount of creative designs and setups that truly look like a piece of art. Growth knows no bounds for the team and designing new pieces and improving old ones is considered a happily accepted challenge. Game on Fam!
