Kustom Kulture had its official first day on July 1, 1995. Inspired by independent record shops, comic book stores and the old school "head shops" of the seventies and eighties Kustom broke new ground in the way it treated the traditional smoke shop approach. Striving to become a complete "Kulture" store by incorporating all these influences and more Kustom has evolved into an eclectic mix of fashion, literature, art, and smoking gear. We are committed to representing the work of independent artists in various mediums worldwide. We are also driven to create a shop in our city where people can feel at home, shopping in a place where people know your name and are part of your community.

Kustom Kulture, whose name was derived from a gallery show and book of the same name, featuring hotrod and lowbrow artists like Robt Williams, Von Dutch and Big Daddy Roth, hopes to recreate this mix on our new retail website. While featuring a full and easy to use on-line catalog of all our store favorites, it encompasses the broad mix of products are store has become known for. We are very excited about re-launching our retail site and hope you are too.
